Sprint 56 will see general bug fixes and improvements to both the admin and client portals, as well as the ability to add image galleries, tool tips, risk warnings and additional social media links to your opportunities.
These updates have been carried out and implemented on release sprint #56 as of July 20th.
When creating an opportunity, you now have the ability to add multiple photos.
Your chosen photos will then be displayed in a clean and organised carousel-style gallery which is viewed by your investors on the client portal.
This gives you the ability to make your opportunities look as best as they can whilst sharing vital information and visuals of things like a business, property or team.
Like any new technology or software, knowing what something is or understanding terminology you're not familiar with can sometimes be tricky, that's why we've introduced tool tips.
Within the terminology settings area, you now have the ability to create and edit tool tips for some of your key financial information.
This enables the investor the chance to hover over your tool tip to reveal help text or a description, ensuring your investors are educated without the need for contacting you or leaving the opportunity.
Tool tips will be rolled out to other areas of the platform in due course, but if you have an urgent need or requirement for this, please do let us know by contacting your account manager or raising a support ticket within the platform.
Opportunity Risk Warning
Based on client feedback, you can now create a site-wide risk warning for all your investment opportunities.
Within the terminology settings, navigate to the opportunities tab and you will see the Risk Warning text box, where once populated, it will get displayed to the investor when they are viewing an opportunity whilst logged into the client portal.
Social Media Handles
Following positive client feedback, we have now introduced additional social media handles that you can add when creating an investment opportunity.
Previously you could only chose from LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, now you have the choice to also include YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
The investor will see these icons and links when viewing an opportunity and if they were to click on one, it will open a new tab and direct them to the appropriate social media channel for your opportunity.
